Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is recognized for her performances as the main character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) and Precious (a dramatic). She was born into an upper middle-class family living in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. The mother of her children was a film buff and was able to instill the love of movies in the young girl. Paula was involved in a variety of co-curricular events at school and had a particular interest in dramatics. She was a huge fan of acting alongside her peers and was a participant in the school's stage productions. She acted in many productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as a profession. As a student in a summer camp offered by the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. The program was awarded to her by PBS to produce documentaries over the course of three months. Her first job was as production assistant for television documentaries following her successful completion of the project. Following the completion of her project, she started producing documentary films. Though she loved her job, she still dreamed of being an actor. Her acting journey began with a small part on the movie romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. In the years since, she has been on many TV and film programs.
