In June 1985, Miss Georgia was to be named in her honour. On the same day, June 22, 1985 she won the tournament. Mohr who had won the competition, then went on to represent Georgia as Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City in New Jersey in September of 1985. Mohr was, however an official Top 10 finalist for the national title.
